@kx You have to be joking. The desk reservation system is nice, but most people don't use it. More than half the desks show as available at excelsior crossings but then when you actually walk the floor, every desk is occupied, or is filled with someones personal sh-t that is there every day.

@kx you must work in the rare office where reservations are respected. This hasn't been my experience and I know teammates in other offices who say the same.

For those dealing with not knowing who's been sitting in a desk, etc. I recommend reserving a desk through the app. I make a plan, reserve a desk and have been able to use the same desk ever since I started hybrid. None of it is ideal, but this is as close to having an assigned desk as I can get.

Around 5. I'd probably go more if I had my own desk. Sometimes I go in and can't find an open desk so I just go back home. Even when I do find an open desk I have to think about how clean the previous person was and deal with how they sc--wed up the docking station monitor and network cables.

Doing the needful to hit the required stats for badge swipes and I guess I will continue until my mental health degrades to the point I stop or get laid off

After working at home, I got used to doing my business in privacy, with adequate ventilation, 2 ply toilet paper, and Ivory soap to wash my hands and 100% cotton towels to dry my hands. Now when I go in, I can't believe I put up with this for years, prior to the pandemic. The toilets are dirty and usually have splats because, apparently, my coworkers have no shame and don't bother to clean the area after use. The paper is so thin, when I wipe, my finger breaks through the tissue and I have to scrub my hands afterwards. I sit next to people who talk on their cell while having a diarrhea episode and the smell is nauseating. So, I come in 3 days a week, work about 6 hours, trying to limit the exposure.

Anywhere from 7 to 11 days. Its a struggle when there are no trash cans, the office smells like pi-s, toilet paper is being rationed out without a square to spare and someone's food or sn-t is smeared across the desk or monitor. Screams record breaking profits doesnt it!?
