Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

We work to get paid!

No pay increases , there no reason to have goals !

Learning AWS or Azure in the US is useless as its all going to low cost countries and there wont be position's at DXC for most of us. We might be able to get a job outside of DXC.

NO Pay increase , no additional work"
NO Pay increase , Less work !
No Pay increase , taking more time off work!
No Pay increase, NO setting Goals

@1juu+1iHrlScL is 100% right. I wish more people would adopt this attitude.

fu-k DXC as the CEO doesn't follow DXC values, he should be fired for cause without his holden parachute. A savings of at least 50 million a year

Disagree with OPs comment .There are still plenty of opportunities available for the skills you mentioned above if you package yourself as a full stack resource. I can validate that -I left that he-l called DXC 3 years back and moved to leadership role in a F200 company..

Only the big enterprises are short sighted. A lot of mid-sized firms understand the importance of building client trust and a reliable Quality service and would not offshore everything, as the service quality and customer feedback invariably suffers.

Taking a test now and then not using what you learned is a waste of time. DXC just wants to tell customers that X% is certified.

I have NEVER been certified in by 30+ years in IT, and all the people Certified in my area of expertise always come to me for help. They are test takers but can't debug themselves out of a soaking wet paper bag!

#WeAreDXC and we are screwed as executives and the board don't follow DXC values

Really Saddens me AWS and Azure is supposed to be where all the jobs are.

Now overseas folks do it.
At my previous company over 100 employees got AWS certified……………….

We were all outsourced the next year

Skills update today , what a crock of bull sh-t. My manager knows my skills and thats all that matters, I won't be transferred to another area. They want this so they can WFR us!
