Was this scheduled already or come up last minute? Seems like there’s some sort of announcement?

@kq no that was a different update. When we first came back it was 1-4 days in the office at the discretion of department leaders. Then they made the update to 3 days in the office with the minimum being the 2.4. That first update was a very big surprise. The one you're speaking of, not so much. That was them being tired of their dance around what they were really trying to say.
@je that was one of the worst most poorly kept secrets (outside of Accenture and Denver closures) as most everyone knew by early August that year of the move from 2.4 to 3.0 average. Several areas/groups asking folks to do 3 days anyway. The TH that September was just the official news which was only new news to associates living under a rock.
The numbers sound good. Maybe we’ll get raises next year after all.
I think EC will be celebrating their success to outsource their employees to apart from few boot li---r
@aq I do remember the first update to in office requirements from department discretion to 3 days was announced in a townhall. I believe it was the September following returning to the office
It’s gonna be T, saying “How excited she is.” That’s all she does. Gets on stage, and says “I am so excited gang!”
Then someone from wealth speaks, then marketing.
Then they make rich people sounds and do rich people laughs, and then they throw breads scraps into the crowd and make bets on which peasants should be thrown out of the city gates.
@a3 love dirty rumors when they turn out to be true.
@OP are you new here?
Also which town hall. T’s town hall is usually one every quarter and this has been on the calendar for over a month. Individual business teams under SEVPs are usually after T’s high level corporate one. Then the EVPs have one and then level after SMDs or whatever each has one.
All in all we typically have 12-16 town halls a year and every single one of them is a complete waste of time.
All of them are BS we’re doing great calls and NEVER talk about things @a3 said. As others said that is an email or a last minute call like the Denver closure and Accenture moves usually scheduled the day before to a handful of folks with a “do not forward” notice.
@OP it has been on calendars since early October
@a3 How much of “T’s bonus money is she investing with the NY Liberty ? Some of that $18M diverted from employee bonus pools over to WNBA superstars in the effort to support DEI
@a3 the spike in health care costs are causing TIAA to layoff many employees. Cost overruns in Frisco and a run on general account assets are setting off alarm bells with the ELC.
@a3 Whoa!
@a3. they NEVER make these types of announcements at a live Townhall in front of an audience. I’ve been here for 30 years and these would only come out in the form of an email. It’s just gonna be more BS cr-p saying how great the company‘s doing and how great the future looks and then wish everyone a happy holiday and close the call.
@a6 If these were true they'd wait until after the Engagement Survey closed.
@a3 is it true?
@OP Here's a preview of the announcements:
1) Mandatory 5 days in office beginning January 1
2) No raises
3) 2,000 additional employees to be transferred to Accenture March 1
4) Charlotte buildings for sale, 50% of jobs to be transferred to Frisco
