Were raising the profile again to others, join us, we used to get rises every year on time in AT&T. These lot are just a bunch of jokers, they dont even communicate or hold town halls now. They said August rises and now we are nearly in October. Everyone join our strike until they listen!

This is just getting very silly, you can't go every year without a raise.
There will be more than a strike soon, people have reached then end of the line and the mental torture is no longer bearable.
The company has so little work to do - it wants us all two take 2 weeks off at Christmas. It's not looking promising for a pay rise! What more do they need to do to convince us there is no redundancy, there is no point staying. Just leave already please!
You have a choice you can work your ba--s off and give your pay to the Execs like every year, or do what they pay you for, as people say they have not had raises for 10 years.
The Execs have it made just do a few meetings/town halls a year, a few emails, load up layers of management, no need to deliver any growth, then just say there isnt money for general folks raises.
This happens every year, upto you if you join the strike or work for the Execs pay, they will keep taking from you.
Pretty much everyone (including middle management) are doing the bare minimum because doing any more yields zero reward.
For anyone looking at this from the outside, it's not about no raises (at or above inflation) or promotions this year, it's about ten plus years of this cr-p. For some it's even longer.
After a few years of that you get pretty anti.
Dxc needs everyone to innovate and deliver above and beyond but isn't prepared to reward it. Instead every year pay is eroded... While we watch a parade of clueless execs crow about their staggeringly enormous pay.
Another DXC win. They can say the whole problem is employees not working together and back stabbing each other!!
We're all dragging our feet doing what we feel the money we're paid is worth. Regardless of role.
I don't blame anyone but management for their lack of appropriate renumeration, bad or slow decision making, and not routing out incompetence across the ranks.
I don’t believe for 1 millisecond that Networks is on strike. If your on strike then man up and walk out, picket !

@k8 See the Net managers weren’t needed. If you said things are more difficult now , it would mean DXC made a mistake getting rid of the Net Managers.
Networks think they are so great, some DC’s have good ones but most aren’t so hot
I guess virtual 1st failed miserably. Now with people in the office , strikes can have more effect with the employee demand for annual merit pay increases!
@k8 My point is you don't strike you are just the same as the rest of us, do as little as we can get away with to reflect the lack of pay. Every manager tells their staff DXC is broken and they are worth more because most people are decent and honest.
Networks are only special in their own heads.

@k6+1k5y0034p What prove do you have? Im in Networks and its a given we do little as possible to compensate us, our Managers are decent and they openly tell us how bad DXC are, they tried to get rid of a load of Net Managers last year but we work together with what's left.
Us Engineers are plentiful to cover and i will be making up my pay rise by free holiday time.

Dxc Management are just a bunch of liars, every couple of years they change. They fully promise an annual pay cycle but when the time comes to paying it they go awol.

As a Net Eng I know we have bad press over the years because we are on more $$$$'s from the AT&T raises but as the op says we are with everyone, we have to work together and take collective action, please help. We have all been taken advantage of by DXC Management who are on mllions and using us like slaves to generate their money. Enough is enough!

Gotto give it to Networks the Engineers just say no without fear, if we dont speak up we will get nothing. They have thrown down the challenge, its upto others to join and support for positive change.
This Networks strike has moved tge management into action. Finally realizing theres a pay review they have issued mid year reviews and a CES town Hall.
I used to think Networks were a joke and disloyal, but i have changed my opinion. Im in with them now. The Management cant keep taking the money and hammeringji the workers.
