I heard that there's going to be a big layoff coming either just before Thanksgiving break or December break. Specifically in HiL labs, as there was not much output last year.

When I worked with ADAS HiL, even people from the same country would complain about being left out of conversations because they spoke a different dialect. There were a lot of people that didn't have responsibilities beyond what any high schooler could pick up in a week or two.

$6 Chickens is the name of the new JF and DF duo band with there hit song "Verstappen", "SkunkWorks Shuffle" and "Oh, another recall!" are becoming hits. The latest single "I'm a Apple Cobbler" is a ballad written by DF that is gaining traction on the top 50.
They got signed to the same label as Peter Stern and the Recalls, another Ford spinoff group with the hit "$900,000 annual salary", "$1 million signing bonus" and $2023 I made $10M and I quit!" are among the hits.
JF said that the Motown sound is coming back. Verstappen! is a top 10 hit!

I worked with them a few years ago. Out of over 50 people, I can think of 5 that were Americans and they've none of them work there anymore.

Which HIL lab? Powertrain? ADAS HIL has grown so much in the past year. There is no way they would layoff ADAS HIL after DF and Sammy showcased them multiple times in all kinds of town halls.

It would be a really $hitty thing to do right before Thanksgiving, but Ford’s done a lot of $hitty things over the years, so this would not be a surprise.
Teams were told to work from home this coming week.
Who cares anymore? Pics or it didn't happen. Recalls will continually chip away at Ford and Model e will bleed more cash. Ford Racing is a priority for 2026, wait for the big event in January, JF will be like a kid in a candy shoppe. Verstappen!
