My minivvan has a similar interface and that was only 120k. Except it's not leggy af or clunky and doesn't take 5000 clicks to get where I want to go!
@jj I understand how painfully slow the IT/CS process is, but the moment SRO learns what you’re doing outside of process, it will get shut down. Hopefully the functionality you need will be replaced in ODW before this happens. Proceed with caution

$120K for a minivan? Does it fly? Either way, one can clearly see that the QA and automation testing step may have been skipped with the backend data transformation. All I know, my check is usually and has been for years in on Thursday- it’s Thursday and nothing. I wonder if we’ll get an AI generated statement soon?
whatever peoples thoughts on it are - the cost and time to get it in place is mostly untangling the thousands of different datapoints and processes divided in a hundred different ways on legacy systems. the cost isnt in the new thing, its in trying to get off the lots of old things without breaking anything (see back-end architecture for most major, legacy banks for more evidence of this, whereas newer banks get to start with a clean slate)

How much did the company spend on Oracle consultants to roll out an Oracle COTS solution? I’m sure it was highway robbery. But, they can’t afford to give the employees decent wages or stave off layoffs. The leadership at Dell is truly horrible.
