From what I am hearing, most of folks on ISP list will be DLs.
Given the objective of cascade 2 is to reduce leadership layers, it makes sense. GPs/Directors will save their skin and throw DLs under the bus.
Skills, capabilities and performance will not matter. If you are a DL and don’t have a GP/Director protecting you, your name will end up on the ISP list.
@a2, I've been there long enough to SMH on how some folks were DL to begin with.
Some are such a joke and never figured out their job in the role....
@a2 I heard GPs are being coached by ER Team to instead say, "it's not a demotion, that role you had no longer exists and you're taking on a new role."
Uhh... is is a lower salary grade? Yes? Then that's a demotion, honey.
@jf Would most FLs be open to accepting a payout in exchange for taking on more work? Since they aren't involved in the day to day, it might seem less appealing , offering lower pay along with added stress.
The TL’s I know that are worth anything have opted for voluntarily separation because they don’t want to keep giving to a company that is shi**ing on them and they know they can obtain gainful employment elsewhere. Most of the TL’s that remain will be horrible to work for. Mostly because they are newer, younger, they will feel powerful and they now have the full arsenal of fear and intimidation in their toolbox at their disposal going forward, compliments of the new Deadwood Jones culture.
@a2 hmm but will they be displacing the lower level leaders already in those roles? Will we lose strong TLs so they can protect mediocre DLs?
Perhaps some might get demoted to lower level leader role. I mean offered.
