Barnhart folks (Hillsboro, Oregon) got an email today reminding us that WF will be exiting the location before the end of the year. Standard take your stuff home/update your contact info. The end is near.

Are they actually firing employees ? At Barnhart? What is the reason they give for firing?

@hw I got the email that I would be converted to full time remote on Oct 29th but my Manager said he is not aware of any such changes and said 28th would be my last day . I am not sure why that email was sent to me in the first place to add more confusion .
Only the rare survivors would get such an email. It's happened at other locations. Generally means "we're holding onto you for a little while longer because we need more time to eliminate/transfer your role". They'll eventually downsize you for being remote, but hey, at least you'll have a job in the meantime and won't have to deal with RTO horse S. It's a win, especially compared to 95% of the people in the building.

We've pretty much got confirmation that we're out this month, so the 28th is likely the last day for many at the Barn. Can't speak for every single department though, but either way, before the end of the year.
Wednesday was my last day going into Barnhart. So happy I don't have to waste away any more of my life there.

I'm in Salem and yes we got the same email.
Everyone is glad the site is closing. Nobody wants to work at this place. Never was a good job in the first place.
Hold on just a little longer, valiant members of The Barn. They are certainly looking for excuses to term for cause and avoid severance. Hold the line. Don't give it to them. I wonder if people in Salem got the same notification.

The math doesn't add up after the next cycle of 10/28. Throw in the fact someone from upper management is visiting us next week....
