@hp Yes, they were. Go back and read the email again. It specifically said they started today, which was the 29th, and would continue through February. Another round will happen on the 12 and the 26th.

@hp 1/29 was probably a way to cut costs fast by eliminating top performing/high pay folks. Shortsighted but fast.

Since the beginning of time, layoff dates are always on Thursday of non-payday weeks. The next dates are 02/12 and 02/26.

They are planning to cut 2000 more company-wide in February

It’ll be on a non-pay week. I have a good source saying 2/12 for the next round.

No more layoffs on 1/30. There will be a February date but I’m not sure what it is. 2/19 is a very likely possibility.
