I was diagnosed with shingles a week ago. I've been going to the office all along and plan to keep going in and using shared space. I'm not going to waste a sick day being actually sick. I'm trying to use a different spot every day. Enjoy.

Shingles is not contagious. If you never had chicken pox you have a slight chance of getting chicken pox only if you never had them.

@hh , for the upteeth time, most (L1 & L2) are not supervisors. That’s a bogus total for the greedy sl1me to avoid paying OT. Most “managers” (L1 & L2) are just worker bees.
@OP I had a 102.5 fever once and was verbally warned I wasn’t sick enough to miss work. So have at it, make sure you go near as many managers as possible!

@bz but not going in will lead to you being laid off. Maybe they should try to relax the policy so people actually feel confident staying home when they should. That’s not the way it is currently.
