I feel sorry for this person and the family. Stinky and his minions do not care, in fact, they either want us to quit or expire. Same win for them. This is not the 1st time that someone with health issues or disabilities denied accommodation. In ATL alone, one of my coworkers passed away (he was disabled, walked with crutches), no assigned seating each time. I believe at one point he fell walking around and caused him to file FMLA and sadly he passed. Another one, walking with a walker, obviously impaired, also no assigned seats. I see this person walking around with walker assisting him daily. Some I knew had heart attacks, at least 2 people. Some lost their legs due to accidents, and yet were still told to report 5 days a week. This is just in 1 office here in ATL.

We had a lady put her head down and die while on a conference call. It was several years back. She was in the office.

“That’s like the 3rd time this year.”

At least longterm managers are getting to do what they love in their final moments.

A lot of employees with over 20 years of service are extremely jealous hearing someone was able to still get cradle to grave employment at AT&T!

@he That's due to RTO and eating Donuts, Greasy Burgers/Fries and High Fructose Cola's.
That's life or lack of. But good for us surviving as these corpse's took the "buyout".
Someone needs to place them in their chairs, place a pen in their hand and claim the insurance that they passed while working. I believe that policy is worth a years pay.

They most likely had the mandated 12 booster shots.

There’s been 3-5 heart attacks in that office over the last 6 months. Your health matters!

Prayers to the family and friends of this precious soul. Sad to see such cold comments on this site but it’s not shocking. Some people live for such evil but it will catch up with you… it ALWAYS does. May your hearts be turned as you realize you reap what you sow.

@b1 One of the reasons the C-suite supported 5x RTO was for our health.

Is this fake news? Should be at least on local news.

Literally RTO working as intended. Quit, or pass away from the misery, it matters not to the Dallas sociopaths. The SVP will get a bonus bump for the expense reduction.

@b1 not an id--t - someone who is well read and understands real health impacts of stress. Stank has the opportunity to improve the atmosphere at his company chooses not to… He’s making a lot of people ill… & don’t say “quit”
it ain’t that easy to find same pay in this economic climate.

A few years ago, one of my colleagues, who was as working from home, passed away at her home office. A couple of weeks later her director referred to her being gone as if she had quit or been the victim of a layoff. Her lack of compassion was just unbelievable. It real makes you think….

Some of you have Stankey Derangement Syndrome.

This could happen to any one of us, more so now with the stress we are all under. The company won’t acknowledge it just like they haven’t in the past. This man came into the office and never made it home to his family. Rest in peace to our fallen colleague.

Stankey to blame. Sadly, he’s created this stressful environment and hostile atmosphere. This should be a wake up call to the so called “leadership”. Think it’s time to turn it down a notch, John. This has gone too far.
