@1db I feel a bit better about my job security
Tomorrow will be interesting Let’s hope they maintain the momentum. Last years comps are good for the upside
Nice to read an adult answer. Thank you.
To answer the initial question , i assume we moved the call to give more time to prepare since it’s half way through the year and includes annual price increase. We have to get this right to show momentum moving into the 2nd half. As for 2nd half, it gives us more time to confirm with confidence ASV growth forecast. That’s what the analysts are waiting for. No point rushing it. Better to get it right. In previous years, we missed badly in 2nd half on overly optimistic projections.
@hc L&D/HR has delivered great work for “everyone”? What are you smoking? I’d like some of that with my “free” lunch.
Oh wait! You give employees enough for half a main for lunch and call it a free lunch benefit all while expecting they eat it in office at their desk filling in for work L&D/HR doesn’t do, or worse botches up.
Not surprised by the barely true mostly false narrative, just the sheer audacity to put it in writing. D-mb and over confident, lethal combination.
@fx If you don’t want to be here, maybe it’s time to find a new job. L&D/HR has delivered plenty of great work for everyone. Right now, it looks like you’re putting in a couple of hours a week and collecting free lunch as a full-time benefit. Maybe spend less time writing to yourself and more time checking in with reality - there’s a mirror for that at home.
@fn Because the head of L&D would rather pay herself and her gals with snazzy titles instead of investing in talent across different regions. Hiring those who are client facing to be in L&D would cost more than the people in Manila. It’s not difficult to achieve, it’s just a situation where business rationale comes after protecting one’s circle of friends. Very similar to the A&T leadership.
Maybe Mr CEO needs to practise on what to say and what not to say so as not to have more adverse impact on stock price.
Change of topic, why do we have L&D teams in Manila, who has 0 client facing experience, teaching us about products or workflows? If it’s a standardized product, won’t elearning be more cost friendly and ensure the basic points are covered?
For questions and nuances, won’t regular sessions hosted by the actual people (seniors) doing the job be more impactful?
