Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

damaged PEP is trading around $141 - 2021 level - True value of PEP Strategy and Transformation over the years. How much Ramon has left?

PEP stock is sitting right in the middle of 2021's range - well below 2021's year-end close of ~$159 - Can doomed PepsiCo turn things around? How much Ramon has left in the role? Is this a real business value of our Strategy & Transformation over the last 5 years?

@q3 Totally agree! S&T leadership is the worst...Athina & Stephanie need to go!

lack of actual business strategy...beyond aspirational slogans justifying certain expensive appointments in S&T, and wasting money on non value-add peacocks... that is how we got here! Future at PEP ain´t bright!

@df they totally sc--wed it and are sc--wing it further. We cannot grow because the d-mb Frito id--ts cannot think outside the box. It is their way or no way.
Rule one in beverages was flexibly to compete. FL never had a competitor so they did what they liked and became an ostrich with their heads in the sand

@jj all the acquisitions done to date have failed. Ramon ram Athena must be made to walk the plank by wall street.

@h1 I get sick every time I hear Poppi now. The pressure to sell is ridiculous. I am sorry you overpaid for it and it isn’t selling the way you thought. Can I stop wasting 60% of my time on trying to sell 5 cases a week of this cr-p.

It isn’t just bottler / ownership , look at the crazy money spent on cr-p acquisitions like poppi - as an example. Poor decisions/ over priced goods that any sensible person won’t make as a repeat purchase.

What is ridiculous is that when PepsiCo wanted control over the bottlers, they thought they could do a better job. Fast forward and they turned into a cluster on many levels.

@cc bottlers were fine as seperate beverages. We knew our work. But ma Indra and her Indian cabal wanted to su-k as much blood out via outsourcing and kickbacks.
What did beverages get zilch!!!.
Spin beverages off from this hellhole we are in. First order of business if beverages get spun off, fire entire Indian outsourcing rubbish.

That is where you get where folks who dare to challenge our poor strategy or questionable ´leadership´ appointments across S&T are sidelined or removed...

Spin off the bottlers. Worst mistake that was made merging them in. Too big, too slow, and too much bureaucracy.

Obviously bad management. Those of us who have been around for awhile can really understand the difference between strategies at various points. This is the worst culture and shape this company has been in for a long time.

It's ridiculous that Ramon is still employed. One of the worst CEOs ever. Incompetent, with all the charisma of a wet rag.

@be If you’re looking at PEP stock as an investment, the key question is whether PEP issues are temporary (a few weak years) or structural (permanent and linked too poor management and strategy). That’s what the market is debating right now and more and more point to the second root cause! Conclusion: more layoffs and cost cutting coming soon… more US roles moved to low cost India

In any normal company under these circumstances a CEO would be sacked immediately!

No further analysis required, PEP stock price speaks lauder than words or any fluffy power point presentation coming from our S&T

PEP's 5 year return is a pathetic 12% while the market's return is 81% ! PEP is an incompetently managed company. #SAD

The price of stock today is unquestionable testimony of how successful Strategy & Transformation has been over the years! TOTAL FLOP!
