@OP fairly quiet in Mke and mqn.
Many retirements though. Some if not most roles will not be backfilled

Fun fact. Factorytalk SE which is the Rockwell distributed HMI software (scada) is mainly developed and maintained in Dalian China. For the last 20 years. They have no path forward and thinking that Optix is viable replacement anytime soon is foolish. So China has access to the software that controls all the factories. We are reshoring manufacturing and trying to decide how to address China as an adversary, and Blakey boy has no plan. I’m sure our IP and vulnerabilities are well known by the CCP. The dalian engineers are solid, so I am not disparaging them, but Blake has put our countries infrastructure at risk by doing nothing. He took over in 2016.

@hzs this is true. It's only a matter of time. There are pages and pages of openings in India and China.

There was at least 10 cuts in MKE over the last week and a half. So as mentioned micro cuts and probably refill those spots overseas.. not sure if anyone has looked at the job postings they are all overseas except made up manager roles or higher.

@h29 the original comment indicated Tessa needs to cut $3m. Word on the street. 20 people? Never ending micro cuts to hit forecasted wall street numbers.

@h0g the censors must be back at it again because whatever comment you responded to doesn't exist anymore.

There were at least 30 people let go last week, most in product support roles. Since the products don't have any problems they were no longer needed.

just kidding, continued engineering, phone support and product quality have built in job security forever thanks to the Designers, lowest cost assemblers and even lower cost suppliers thanks to AlixPartners.
