Let's talk about how "we are in the best position this company has ever been in"

He was kicked out of his house at 17. Doesn’t speak to his family. Says literally nothing at giant meetings. Everyone he hired is gone such as JB. d-mb race car cr-p has subsided. This guy is worthless. Can we replace him with AI? It might actually be better.
@fw problem with this analogy is the market is up while xerox istock s quickly going under 2
@g8 he’s always been full of great ideas - maybe door knocking for the sales team soon
@b6 that was scary in the Q4 call - up 400M what is going on?
@js That has happened so many times... After 3-4 months they get that glazed over look. Saw it on hundreds of consultants over the years including BCG.
@fp don’t feel bad for them. They’ve (Lex) have come in with the view “we are great” so let’s see - eh? They need to put their money where their mouth is.
@h2 he is not running the company. He is making withdrawals.
@gx Yes he is running the company and you are complaining.
after this call and the investor call, and prior calls, it's pretty obvious why he got kicked out of his house at 17, and couldn't make it through community college for like 10 years, and drifted around. He was destined to be a gold chain timeshare sales guy until we picked him up. Tell us more about what a great investment the timeshares are in Gary, Indiana...
@fw don’t worry our new CMO will save the day, he’s the smartest guy on the EC, he is going to sell marketing as a service and make billions
@g4 No employees, just lawyers and consultants to take anything Steve O left...
@ft Interest on debt.. nah.. we plan to write some off that off in bankruptcy. But we will still need some employees when we come out the other side.
@fp Someone has the rescue everyone.. Legacy Lexmark employees will be the one to do it.
@fw You clearly mean the former president.
@f5 Stop posting. You are not smart enough. Its over. Standing up just means your legs will get tired.
After yesterday’s performance from what we call our CEO, it’s fair to say that he is Xerox’s equivalent to the President of the US. Rambles on about nothing and has no clue what people think of him.
Faster and no raises….get out people , I have never seen it so bad, it won’t get better.
@fp "joined" is a bit of a stretch, no?
@f4 "Every single penny helps pays someone salary."
You mean interest on the debt.
@OP I feel bad for the Lexmark folks who joined Xerox with hope and excitement and then had the displeasure of seeing these townhalls…
@cf the 🤡 is shameless and morally bankrupt.
@dr Then we have a circle blame problem based in feelings more than anything where workers blame management for poor treatment and management blame workers for poor performance and attitude.
In the mean time management lay off employees, financials continue to get worse and the situation continues to get worse.
One side of the coin must stand up and do what is right.. if management is unable to do then workers must. But if workers can't either because of feelings then they shouldn't b*tch about the way they are treated.
@f1 They should paid in March that would be 180 days.. 6 more months of interest on our cash. Every single penny helps pays someone salary.
@av since months. Some suppliers wait since November to get paid
Bandy has stumbled his way into a position where he can take as much for himself as he wants without any success at all, and nobody cares. Steve and his team have accomplished nothing. Has he passed $100m yet?
@cp I think people would be more inclined to do this if they ANY faith in the SLT, all they see at the moment are the EC creaming in huge salaries - can anyone justify 14m a year or 50 k a day with the company performance ? Whilst the workers get no merit increases, 401K contributions scrapped, annual appraisals canned, commissions structure reduced etc (none of which were addressed in the Q&A as SLT thought people would be more interested in getting answers on memory, China and warrants)....so they go either way 1) your way where they go all in or 2) do just what is required by contract and stop working unpaid overtime every day, take a lunch break, take their vacation in order to claw back what they have missed out on - I think given human nature I know where most would sit and that will just exacerbate the issues in 2026 where workloads for all will be expected to be higher..
It sounds like he’s saying we’re still here because AI can’t walk dogs. He literally reduced us to dog walkers. So the expectation is to walk the dogs faster—faster and faster—pick up the po-p faster, too.
They like to say a company’s greatest asset is its people, yet he clearly places little value on people. To him, we’re pawns—resources to be squeezed so leadership can hit their numbers, collect their compensation, and move on. That’s deeply disappointing.
If anyone should leave, it’s him—not us. They’ll be gone after December 2026 anyway, cashing their bonuses and heading off to strip another company. Icahn brought them in, and now they’re trying to shift the blame onto him, even though they’ve been the executioners all along.
Now they will get creative on financials so they don't need to use cash to pay the debt. The markets not going to buy what they are selling.
@cf I think the reality is that each person needs to step up and now be a leader in their lives; either find a different employer or step up and do what is needed to plug the leaks in the sinking ship. The reality is SLT can't do this.
this meeting only confirmed that he is completely delusional. The entire company has lost faith in his leadership
@aw And? We are talking about 4-6 months late on contractual terms
@by "Almost" also doesn't say whom said don't come to HP.. HP or the candidate. :)
Have you heard other CEOs talk?
“I almost went to HP”. okay, let’s unpack that. “Almost”. it wasn’t “CEO.”… “Assistant VP, Clown Car Operations,”
Need to go Faster!!
We are in the best position? The best position for taking it up the do---o hole?
Baby Steve has created environment where 100% of the staff could not care less about the company. What a leader.
@aw look at year over year accounts payable. Proves your point.
Best Position???
