CMO in Melbourne - coincidence the F1 were there

the CMO has just put his story in L’In about special alignment sessions in AUSTRALIA - given the travel restrictions, how come he is there and what a coincidence the F1 was there.

Peoples have kids that they trying to feed with the special, and you mean to tell me that we can't feed our kids? Because y'all didn't order enough chicken I knew yous all were having a special almost two months ago! And that's wrong!

@OP he will be booking a helicopter to fly him and his cronies to the British Grand Prix next….just imagine how inappropriate that would be!

At least we pay quocirca to pump out fake Xerox articles so we can in turn post internal news about how we made a top list in quocirca. They just named us an AI leader. How? What have we done with AI?

@gr Yeah, we met them both at a couple events...didn't even seem to know what we sold. They fired the guy in Canada who was great, paid him like a huge one plus year Canadian severance. he ends up working for Fuji like a week later

Good for the CMO. Grifting off X is how the smart ones live. The rest pave the way for the elites. Been this way at X since Ichan and will not change.

I don't even know why we have a marketing department when we have no marketing budget for trade shows, events, trade advertising, industry events, etc. We haven't done a television campaign in umpteen years and when is the last time we had ads in trades pubs? We clearly don't have people handling social media. The last CMO hired her cousin who had a degree in fashion or art or something weird to run marketing, and no one knew what either did. We talk about this F1 partnership, and all we are getting is a 6 inch logo on a car with 50 logos that are larger

@fq basically cold calling sessions every month on a Thursday morning - the brain child of the CMO but very much a ‘thing of the nineties’ - old school door knocking.

Needless to say how ALL the Sales thought he was a complete id--t, but there were always some who played along to make him think it was a great idea.

They put lots of fake pipeline in Salesforce, the management saw a healthy future and the start of the chaos the business now finds itself in.

CMO is responsible certainly for the poor sales performance for the UK over the past FOUR YEARS.

@bq what is a Intensity Session? Sounds intriguing.

Hey ‘Bob’ you are absolutely correct.

Let’s play F1 Bingo and see if the CMO posts more Alignment Sessions that tie in with the F1 calendar.

Xerox has a freeze on travel, the numbers are way down and yet the current regime found ways to spend $millions on sponsoring F1. It was probably the idea of the VP of marketing and Disruption that left 6 months ago or was part of their “reinvention” scheme.

Xerox: We're going to sponsor an F1 team
Employee: Great, can I get discount tickets?
Xerox: No.
Employee: Ok, is there a certain event I can attend with other Xerox people?
Xerox: No.
Employee: How much does this sponsorship cost us?
Xerox: We are not disclosing this information (actual quote found in FAQ)
Employee: So what are we doing?
Xerox: Listen, our CMO needs to fly around the world and watch our logo race around.

Alignment sessions - don’t believe it. Aligning on what exactly? What is wrong with all the remote working tools that everyone else can manage with? Hypocrite ….

Wow the company is in dire financial trouble and he gets the budget for that. Astonishing. I am sure it's all above board and no way related to the F1 (corp sec cough cough)

The CMO living his best life, using Xerox funds as his own personal bank account. Nice work if you can get it….and looks like he has.
