Offshore hiring continues. Just interviewed offshore candidates to back fill an onshore position. It’s now a game of shuffling bodies. Gainwell offshore candidates are extremely under qualified to put it nicely. Management is still pushing hiring offshore while attempting to segregate client data that doesn’t have offshore restrictions. Management is putting together piecemeal solutions in its quest to redirect questions from the clients. More smoke and mirrors.

Foreign ran companies and actors should have never been given so much access to services for the American people in the first place.

It's already known that off-shore identities have gain access to personal information, intentiionally or unintentionally through the business practices of the company. There is no doubt about that. And that access needs to be immediately withdrawn. As it imposes the risk of financial threats and identitfy thefts which should not have been allowed to begin with.

@w6 I was laid off in October. Medi-Cal, DBO, Nevada, Alabama and DC were the accounts I worked on. Yvonne Bell, and yes, I am proud to say I was part of this article. Wrong is wrong.

With all workstations being monitored, there is absolutely no way Gainwell doesn't know exactly where every employee is located. Since it's a third-party application, the data can be subpoenaed without Gainwell's availability to destroy it (not that they would). Deniability is egregious and actionable. The whistleblower for this is going to be holding some serious $. Prove it and watch the money pour into your account. Billions are flowing in; it's cheaper to break the contracts and pay penalties than to follow stipulations within them; this has been happening for years.

The issue is the company has gone down the rabbit hole regarding offshoring work to save a few dollars. The denials reveal the company struggling to come up with a message to stall further questions by third parties while coming up with a game plan to continue offshoring.
The company will not stop offshoring but to contain the fallout it has caused. I can definitely say, offshore hiring is still happening to fill positions and will continue regardless until there is financial penalties involved.

With AI fictitious candidates and imposters getting hired, PHI is at risk, as well as many other things. It will only get worse until GW gets ahead of it. HaHa

I personally know of an offshore resource who turned out to be an imposter, who was still an active employee for 2 months until someone noticed their name on a report. GW leaders and legal reps will never tell the truth, in my opinion.

There have been repeated and documented incidents of unauthorized transfer of production (PROD) data into non-production (NON-PROD) environments, in direct violation of required data-segregation, security, and compliance controls.

The exposed data was not remediated, sanitized, or removed, and remained accessible for extended periods, during which it was accessed by offshore personnel without documented authorization or business necessity.

These actions reflect systemic control failures and negligence, and may constitute violations of applicable federal and state data-protection laws. Given the recurrence and severity, this matter merits formal investigation by the Department of Justice and the appropriate state authorities.

@g2 Aren't you delusional.

Statistics show that India is one of the highest ranking countries when it comes to outbound scams to other countries aka call centers, etc.

Please find a closet, go inside and play pocket-pool for a few hours. Because that is exactly how much value you bring to the table, NIL.

the production support team is in India. Whenever something needs to be fixed in production, which is all the time, off-shore has access to see live production data. This company is a joke and the development teams lack real leadership from management.

I know of at least once instance where data was moved from production to the SIT environment for testing. And off-shore personnel had access to the SIT envronment and were the ones doing the testing.

Also, I've been on bridges where someone starts sharing their screen and it's an application displaying someones data from a claims record, without verifying who should or should not be on the bridge before the share. Whether those of foreign nationality are off-shore or not during the share, I can't say. But you always have foreign actors on bridges that involve applicatons and systemns.
