Gary was a liar.
He would say that 'last place to work line' at his town hall right before ordering up more cuts.
He bought the titanic known as Worldpay, and after that fiasco convinced Stephanie to come back into the president's role.
He was fired for very good reasons. But wow, have things dropped off a cliff since then
Layoffs have to be normal when you have the worst leadership in fintech
@gm I actually remember Gary saying he wanted FIS to be the last company you want to work for.
We went from constantly hearing "I want FIS to be the last company you work for" to now, where you won't be in your seat long enough for it to get warm. So unfortunate!
Those were the days! Loyalty went both ways- employee to company and company to employee. Then the CEOs and XLT realized they could make millions of $$$$ and sc--w the employees but hey, no worries for them because they made enough to keep their family secure for decades/generations to come.
