Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

India workforce replacing domestic US

This has been going on for months now. Off shore India teams working during US workforce hours. The writings on the wall. Fiserv not supporting the US employees with this strategy. Good luck.

considering some of the messes I've had to clean up that virtusa contractors in India have made... please do replace me with them, and enjoy.

@gf let them go offshore everything. USA will all be laid off and the few people with standards will continue to leave even faster. like sun tzu says: never distract your enemy when they're making a mistake

@fd When a country is a shithole everything including labor is cheaper. You will not see an effective and efficient team anywhere with a septic infection in the company either.

Fiserv is sc--wed thanks to offshoring and it is what we win reverse quality awards for our cores now.

We used to have clients that liked our products.

@fd Ok the 3rd world is really a lot better friend! Why don't you work for an Indian based company then.

India staffing always costs less no matter the company. Always to replace American deadwood staff. At Aon windows problems fixed cheaperfasterbetter. All one word!

@ce It is not about brain it is about incentive. Even the people know clearly what the pay is like relatively and the longer expected hours so you will not get people who care.

Otherwise since most on this board are bonus eligible do you feel you are not worth bonus eligible?

There are some hard working and bright Indians. But a bright person understands what is going on.

You understand this right?

“Deport them all”?? It clearly was said offshore resources!

With this level of attention to details no one should be surprised that our jobs are moving!
Keep defunding education and let everyone get their participation college degrees!!

@b4 that would be if those offshore had half the brain of the Onshore team members who have been working on the products for years!
There is no one-for-one replacement of knowledgeable onsite US Resources.

Yes, they are Cheap, so go by your cr-p from Walmart!

@OP FB accelerated what you said was happening, look at how that is working for clients 🤪

I swear to God that if it happens I will just short the stock and become a decamillionaire.

They found people to work in the middle of the night? Maybe the traffic is better for their commute.

If you ever worked with teams outside of US, especially those in India/Philippines you'd know that that threat they give us is complete BS. Those people work on their own time, with communication gaps that exceed the ones here with our own workers who have English as native language, and management/executives would need to move to India to make that dream a reality so they can micromanage them like they do to us but they won't do that.

@ac "legal" and "Fiserv" don't belong in the same sentence

And Fiserv reaps all the tax benefits America has to offer. While replacing us with offshore workers.

Not sure how it’s legal.
