@gb I hope no one notices. You’re right they probably won’t because this company is run like a Minnesota day care. I hope to be paid by both companies for at least few months. Hope you’re laid off while I’m retained.

We got noticed today that they were shutting our B&M call center down. 3 other sites impacted.

Offered to re-located to TX, or be off payroll 03/06.

I retired almost two years ago when the BS ultimatum was given. Move to Dallas on your own dime or be terminated. I didn't need two week to give them my decision and After 24 years there I can tell you I haven't missed one day. 21 of those years were fantastic. The last three were a total sh-tshow. I pop in occasionally to read these post, sadly nothing has changed. There is life after AT&T.

I am one of the ones that will be leaving this year whether I get an offer or not. The big question is how much of a notice I give if I do not get a package.

For sure! Use this precious time on tasks like making documentation or SOPs less useful, delaying progress on difficult or unpleasant tasks, creating contradictory or incomplete turnover instructions, etc.

Any discernible progress on any work items is time misspent.

Expecting about 30-40k in headcount reductions. I doubt you union guys with the huge potential severances will get impacted. For the office workers, they are just going to make us more miserable till we leave.
