Does anyone know how long these contractors are here to stay?

Funny how a firm nobody had heard of a few years back suddenly blossoms into a "sustainable success story" ince ut starts landing cibtract after contract without anyone else getting a look-in. Almost like the real innovation here isn't in services, but in knowing exactly which insiders to have on speed dial.

"Follow the money" you will find the info.

My team needs experienced trained resources to do the work with quality, not some temp hire who just joined.

@g8 Neustar acquisition was strategic deal not for TU. It was for Neustar investors who exit their money with that deal. So the garbage was dumped at TU. Abhi exit was part of the deal.

Slowly they replace global workforce with mushroom vendors at high billing rates for couple of years for classic reasons..

After few years one of the big foreign service based company who is already in board may takeover entire IT at cheaper rate than mushroom vendors. Current high billing will provide classic justification to handover cost saving billing in coming years..

Multiple reorgs will continue to happen. "TU is a lost comet"

Even the Softility folks are not guaranteed to stick around for too long. A lot of them are going to be let go by the end of the year. But I guess it is easier to make an Indian worker work themselves to the bones than an American worker.

If you're reading here, and your job could be replaced by softility (and may have already been planned) you need to be aware you're on a list that will be cut. I do feel glad that i was, not not glad that I was lied to.

I did not know about any Softility group, it seems like the FTE were stringed along for some time not knowing that their "job" had already been outsourced to a 3rd party

I was laid off in the first wave at the end of 2023. As far as I understood Abhi Dhar -- a man with a meager resume -- burned through about $250M over a three or four year period without anything tangible being delivered.

In the fourth thread back from this one titled "The farce that is called Neustar" the OP went into great detail about the serial fails of Neustar. The comments are also interesting.

If the legacy TU apps are rotting, the support staff is shrinking and no new revenue generating apps are coming online what is going to support TU's revenue? TU's main revenue sources were online, batch and international in that order IIRC. They also had a bunch of acquired companies that generated revenue.

I believe the TU acquired only some part of Neustar. There was partial acquisition of another company around the same time I believe. Are any acquisitions from the last few years contributing to new revenue?

Writing this comment made me wonder what the remaining TU developers have been or are doing.

The diverse leadership team is shown about halfway down this page:

Probably until all FTE are replaced.

Probably a long time. Softility is just up the road from Neustar and their leadership page looks exactly like TU GT.
