False rumors

@rf Regionals should be let go too. What CVS doesn't need is another useless middle management position crabbing about metrics. That's exactly what's wrong with CVS. DL's are bad, regional directors are worse. Stores do not need constant micromanaging. What stores need is support in the form of hours and staffing, and better wages/benefits. Field leadership adds ZERO value to stores when all they do is crab at you because you didn't meet some arbitrary metric of the month. Meanwhile there's only 2 people working and it's crazy busy. Store visits by higher-ups are nothing but dog and pony shows because they don't want to see how things really are. And THAT'S why field leaders need to go.
@rf sources
Confirmed. Store Leaders will report directly to Regionals.
@mq What is the AI tool? Enlighten me. Thanks
With the new Ai visit tool, just a matter of time
Reading this literally would mean the elimination would occur in 2026… which he’ll could mean halfway through 2026. It doesn’t say they don’t exist at all in some part of 2026.
it would have been started before the bonus period closed, not feeling it, going back to all in one is a thought but don't see it turning that soon, that news would be out there so fast if it was true
@g2 that is exactly what CVS’ world revolves around
@fz That's fine as long as the DL isn't a micromanaging, overbearing individual. The whole world doesn't revolve around metrics and conference calls.
Keep dl get rid of rd have dl report to the division vp.cvs way to top heavy.
Confirmed! Heard from my sister who works at starbucks and has a regular customer who lives next door to a veterinarian who treats a dog owned by a corporate executive who golfs with a CVS executive who shared this. Absolutely true!
Oh wait I think he golfs with a Walgreens executive. Wrong company. Sorry. No idea then. But confirmed 100% facts. Front stores will be run by the pharmacy patients, who will be paid in extrabucks and extra long receipts they can wear as clothes
How about eliminate regional directors too. Both DL and RD are useless middle management positions. OR how about just demote DL and RD back down to store level. Once they see what store level personnel have to deal with every day, maybe then they'll finally realize how things really are at the stores, not the fairy tale world they expect.
Please tell me this is true? Somebody HAS to know something.
Let the Store Manager run his/her stores
