Any thoughts on the town hall yesterday? Lots of teamwork and buckle up talk but nothing of substance.

@mj EvilCore is the worst
@ft they haven’t even put EviCore on the market yet. Shut the he-l up. There will be buyers because they lead the market in utilization management. Just because you Cigna fu--s don’t know what we do doesn’t mean the market doesn’t. I wish you all would get a life. You’re just as miserable at Cigna as we are so please take a seat. God damn.
@fy consider CEO’s message as a pre-notification of the massive layoffs coming in the next few months! Enjoy your time and the pay at EviCore
@fy What's going on there?
@c3 yeah nothing any different than most town halls. The off putting part was the jokes about not knowing your childrens names. It was very uncomfortable, and I have kids.
@b3 it sure as heck is on the Evi side!
@c3 Also it seems no one really wants to buy EvIlCore lately. EvilCore was just part of the package Cigna had to take when they got the more valuable ESI.
@c2 Same corporate speak non-answer as before. I suspect they are waiting until after the new CEO shows up and then start the “restructuring”.
I didn’t know there was a town hall meeting yesterday. Any mention about EviCore? Thanks.
@bz Jesus. No kidding I hope that person was joking or they are living in alternate reality. I have never seen morale so low in 19 years at Cigna.
@b3 This is obviously a joke.
I don’t agree that morale is at an all time low.
I wasn’t aware of a town hall.
Morale is at an all-time low, and leadership knows it. This new “Lead to One” strategy feels more like a marketing slogan than a real solution, just like last year’s focus on “Vitality.” Leadership has been given these talking points and repeats them, but many employees get the sense that even they don’t fully believe what they’re saying.
A major disconnect is the message that we’re all supposed to be “one team” while the company continues moving jobs to India. That creates a growing perception among employees that the long-term plan is to reduce the U.S. workforce as much as possible, replacing jobs with offshore labor or AI. People joke that eventually there will be only one employee left in the U.S., the CEO, because everyone else will either be in India or replaced by AI. The fact that so many people can relate to that joke says a lot about where morale is today.
