Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Exhausted

Oracle’s outsource of JLL to run REF|projects|EHS was a poor business move. The ones that are left, have to cleanup JLL’s mess. It’s been an exhausting road. It is actually costing Oracle more money as JLL up charges on everything. Our buildings are suffering. Upper Oracle management doesn’t want to hear the complaints. It’s work harder and be ok with no focal raise. My stomach hurts everyday, my boss rules with an iron fist and she has no idea what she is doing. My goal is to move on from Oracle. Stay healthy all.

@OP JLL has done a terrible job. One of our buildings looks like something from a war zone . Flowers and plants dead and weeds everywhere. Also, bees nests. JLL takes zero pride. They do what they want when they want. Hey DW take notice, when you hire cheap you get cheap. Randy would never of let this happen.

@fq So true. RS left a legacy he could be proud of and led with integrity where everyone wanted to work hard for him and Oracle. DW will leave a trail of ashes and delapidated buildings and people will celebrate when he leaves.

RWS demonstrated what effective leadership in real estate at Oracle looks like: disciplined processes, adherence to policy, and a clear focus on what was in Oracle’s best financial interest. In stark contrast, DW’s leadership has been defined by deception, broken controls, and chaos disguised as strategy. His claims of optimization mask overspending and poor management hidden within layers of outsourced contracts and disorganization.
DW is not a leader…he is a dictator. He fosters a culture of fear rather than empowerment, mocks colleagues while claiming to value diversity, and has created an environment that is openly hostile. His cover story of diversity and inclusion is laughable. His decisions reflect only what benefits his own organization, regardless of the cost to Oracle or best value to Oracle. He is definitely not a subscriber to the One Oracle philosophy that is celebrated by his EVP. He has even openly mocked the philosophy. The result is not savings, but risk, demoralization, and dysfunction. I am sorry for my former colleagues who have not yet been able to escape.

@fq DW is the worst I will also add AA & AA. Miss RS. All they care about is how they look. JLL has hired the cheapest incompetent workers. Good health to us all.

@OP JLL could not care less, and REF SVP — DW and most of his directs — are just the same. The buildings are literally falling apart, and nobody gives a damn! It’s infuriating. I look back at the RWS org days with respect — at least back then we had real leadership. He led with strength and dedication for over 30 years, something these clowns will never understand.

Don't know what you're talking about but if I had a boss that ruled with an iron fist I'd tell her to stuff it. There's no reason for your manager to treat you without dignity and respect. I feel very fortunate to have had nothing by great managers during my time at Oracle.
