Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

1/2 days PTO

Can we still use a 1/2 day PTO to count as an 8 hour day in the office? Or do we have to go in for 4 hours? I am not complaining, asking a genuine question since my direct doesn’t know the answer.

@fp It is gross having people pretend to work while the rest of us carry your weight. They wrote a song about it. It’s called 9 to 5. Pre-pandemic. It wasn’t a problem until people started coffee badging. Messing things up for the rest of us.

HE would probably know; not us people who have been laid off.

The fact your direct says they don’t know is troubling since it’s in the Benefit Book. I took most all of my PTO last year in 4 hour increments to reduce my days in office. If they change that fine, but I’m taking advantage of it while it’s still available.

right now, you've gotten the answer for what it is on this thread. For now it doesn't matter who doesn't like it or agree with it in the "upper crust"... the reports are the reports and the policy is the policy...until...

Tomorrow it could change. The 8 hour thing came out of nowhere, hard. But for now that's what it is.

I would say it's as set in stone today as it is going to be given they updated the guidance a few weeks back to spell out the 8 hours part.

@b9 No reason to be a je-k about it, it's a legitimate question. Teamworks says one thing, but from what we've been told, there is some conflict in the upper crust for whether 4 hours should count or not for an in office day and it's not yet set in stone. Like many things at Wells, there is conflicting muddy information and nobody wants to show up on a report.

It’s gross that we have to worry about office swipes. Revolting bullying folks into leaving.

@b9
..as many times as they want because they are too incompetent to find out for themselves.

how many times will this be asked on this site. you can easily find the answer on teamworks. any time off in 4 hour increments or more counts as an 8 hour day in office. next think people will ask if holidays count as in office days.

@ae

Thank you for the straight forward answer.

1/2 day PTO = one day in office for attendance purposes
1/2 day PTO = not included in the calculation of average hours per day.

Suzanne Morgan doesn’t want you to take half days. They even want to control your PTO these humps

It counts as a day in and the hours don’t affect the hours in office calculation. So you can do two 8 hour days in office and take a half day. Your avg hours will be 8 and your days in office is 3. No need to make anything up if taking a half day and wfh the other half.

I think 4hrs pto still count in office day. But you need make up the rest of 4hrs by working from home.
