With the announcement yesterday alongside the rebranding a separate email said that the UK&I was to become a separate entity, wonder if eventually it will be sold off?

its hilarious that anyone suggests DXC will be sold off, do you honestly think the execs will let that happen? they are enjoying their big salaries in the millions with yearly pay rises despite delivering poor results.
Our plan is very clear: Fire everyone possible then call ourselves a leading AI company and pray someone buys us.
Our new brand movie is AI made because obviously that’s all it takes to become a market leader in AI these days.
@OP Rumors vs. Reality: While there have been discussions in the industry about DXC restructuring or divesting certain regions, no official filings or announcements confirm UK&I as a fully separate entity.
What have you heard, can you post the email, of course without the TO:
@OP Direct Answer: DXC Technology’s UK & Ireland (UK&I) operations have not formally spun off into a separate entity. Instead, they remain part of DXC Technology’s global structure, though they are managed as a distinct regional division with their own leadership and organizational chart.
## 🏢 DXC UK&I Status
- Corporate Entity: DXC UK International Holdings Limited exists as a registered company in the UK, originally incorporated in 2009 under the name CSC Computer Sciences International Holdings Limited. It was renamed in 2020 to reflect DXC’s branding.
- Organizational Role: DXC UK&I is managed as a regional division within DXC North & Central Europe, with its own executive team and president.
- Subsidiary Structure: DXC Technology lists UK subsidiaries (like Entserv UK Ltd. and Xchanging Solutions Ltd.) as part of its global group, but they are not independent from DXC Technology Company.
- No Spin-Off: There is no evidence that DXC UK&I has been legally separated or spun off as a standalone company. Instead, it continues to operate under DXC Technology’s umbrella, albeit with regional autonomy in management and client delivery.
## 📊 Comparison: DXC UK&I vs. Separate Entity
| Aspect | DXC UK&I (Current) | Hypothetical Separate Entity |
|---|---|---|
| Legal Status | Subsidiary under DXC Technology | Independent company |
| Governance | Reports to DXC North & Central Europe | Own board and governance |
| Branding | DXC Technology brand | Could adopt new branding |
| Financial Reporting | Consolidated in DXC Technology’s accounts | Standalone financials |
| Strategic Autonomy | Limited, aligned with DXC global strategy | Full autonomy in strategy |
## ⚠️ Key Considerations
- Rumors vs. Reality: While there have been discussions in the industry about DXC restructuring or divesting certain regions, no official filings or announcements confirm UK&I as a fully separate entity.
- Operational Autonomy: DXC UK&I does function with regional leadership, which may give the impression of independence, but legally and financially it remains tied to DXC Technology.
- Future Possibility: DXC has historically divested or restructured parts of its business (e.g., selling off non-core units). A spin-off of UK&I could be possible in the future, but it has not occurred yet.

@fn yeah he is and he's bloody terrible. Can't navigate his way out of a wet paper bag. Been there for years always " energized" by new leadership and talks poorly about the leadership prior. an absolute snake.
@g3 Agreed he comes across very well but he's not to be trusted, he's very careful not to actually say anything of note and as you say the ex-military clique is getting more and more obvious
@b6+1 Del cones across as a good bloke, but he only really looks after his ex army mates.
And he doesnt say a boo to Rahul, and Fa-t Even when they come with silly ideas. Uk workers, are left underpaid for a long time even though uk is performing well, and thats poor on Del boys part.
@b6
He’s great at going to trade events and reporting back but doesn't inspire any real confidence in any strategic thinking.
Vern is the UK head honcho anyway.
The UK arm IS NOT being ‘spun off’ - its just a statement that the UK is now solely responsible for all the sales and revenue in the region. All products and services will still operate under the divisions they currently operate in otherwise the UK would have to setup separate divisions for each and every offering, which would obviously coat a fortune.
Its sickening what's happened to the UK operation.
Vital capabilities hacked away with false promises toying with employee mental health.
While this goes on, protect your mental health by never accepting extra responsibility, extra work or promotion unless you get paid for it - It makes no difference to who gets WFR'd and at least you won't feel as badly treated when it happens to you
Hahahha this is the begining of the end!
It’s a great move and I’m very pleased for Derek’s elevation. He is a very good man and leader and truly cares about his people.
When selling off a business, good practise is to keep as much as value as possible.
UK workers are toast.
You’re overthinking. Derek is a strong leader and deserved the elevated role. Great call.
Easier to sell to BAE 😳🫣
Whilst it's great that it's a fa-t free zone I don't suppose for a minute that the UK has much autonomy under the new structure.
Spin off? Probably not this just puts it back to how it was in the past.
Uk&I used to be the second largest region in dollar revenue terms, only USA was bigger.
We can only hope
