we were told the contract will renew in 30. 1 more year, no layoffs. I'm on east coast XBS
30 days in September. April, June, and November. 31 in all the rest. Except February, that's when you get whacked with "you're fired!", no severance, no vacation payout, 401 scooped, etc., etc.
i was told 30 days. is that what everyone else was given? also wasn't told it was all Xerox
@hd great question and I would be interested to learn the answer. I suspect its to support HCL offshore colleagues.
@ff If they are cutting ties with HCL why are they keeping the Regional leads?
All US except the Regional Leads...so all the individuals that help when things are not getting done by offshore are being released. They put all individuals on a mtg with HCL SR. Mgmt that showed no emotion & made a comment would have been 2 weeks, but will be 30 days. Absolutely awful. There may be changes with offshoring as they move that around frequently. Unfortunately creating chaos for those customers that remain. To a better tomorrow.

No severance, but they pay for whats been accrued for Vacation/Sick.
@OP 60 days is a good amount of time. Hopefully with some severance and vacation pay thrown in.
They will give 60 days notice so March.
