So NN the new CIO says he's doubling down. That means for all the ones who have lengthy careers, we're out. Get your resume ready because he's going to flush the whole lot. Wonder how long it'll take the shadow ops team to pull this one down.

@1s0 I can vouch for that as at my new place they have a cohesive technology strategy, using much better tools and don’t buy into the AI hype and waste money and resources there. AI is being used but in an intelligent manner that actually works but at same time they cut contracts if vendors who were using it like Deloitte who couldn’t explain why their AI math didn’t match up with actual math. lol
Met wants cheap/free labor hence why they off shore so much are pushing for AI to remove workers and why they’re firing older experienced workers as new young ones are far cheaper.
They don’t care about the knowledge or products only the bottom line which is short sighted and foolish.
Reality is that MetLife is in the dark ages in technology. They are years behind the competition.
A new CIO is like hiring a plumber or any other tradesman. The first thing they do is talk trash about their predecessors work. Prepare yourselves for widespread changes. New guy has to make a big splash!
@fa pushing out the older, experienced talent…
I asked, "Doubling down on what?" and my post was deleted.
Not sure what I said that got it deleted. Must have hit a nerve.
@b3 100%. If you're old, male, white and non-alphabet you're done for.
And he only got his position due 2 DEE E EYE. New Frontier is headed straight into an abysmal void. 👏🏻
