@f6 I feel the same! This gluttony should be illegal or at least sanctioned. So many families are affected and many more will be affected. The real culprits are getting bonuses. How disgusting.
Working here felt like being a tribute in the Hunger Games — constantly on edge, never knowing who’d be ‘eliminated’ next. Meanwhile, Mark and the ELT watched from the Capitol, untouched and out of reach, making decisions that changed our lives like it was all just a game.
Sandy is a useless relic of the mark era. She achieved nothing. She was simply there to flatter marks ego and tell everyone how amazing his ideas were.
Saying that we’re all in a game is tone deaf. They should’ve acknowledged the damage. Mark did the tens of thousands of families. The damage you did to a successful Canadian company that he threw into the gutter the fact that he earned an incredible salary and wasted an incredible amount of money travelling like a king on private jets, eating expensive food, and staying at the most prestigious hotels While telling everyone we had to do better and that layoffs were required because of efficiency all a while just trying to please the investors.
I work in the Manila office and saw him show up last year with a police escort. He made them shut down streets so that he could feel important.
Framing our careers at OT and massive layoffs as part of a game is such an insult to employees. Getting bonuses while laying off people is not a game, Sandy.
We were part of Mark's sick game. Now that his reign of te---r is done so is the game. Sandy is just spouting bullsh-t as usual, pretending like Mark is still there.
