He doesn’t keep:

Scientists who don’t build
Fellows who don’t ship
Architects who don’t design
Highly paid engineers that do nothing, should be let go.

Bring it on. Let's see what happens when the dust settles.
Of course restructuring is coming. You will know it is coming when they blame predecessors. Count 12 to 18 months and watch for the org shifts.
Enjoy 4 months of income at this great company. That is all you guys have.
@f4 I think that poster is talking about spaceX
@bm What IPO? The spinoff of Aerospace is not an IPO.

He pays chiefs and principals 10x what Honeywell does. By your definition there are no highly paid individuals at Honeywell. Second rate talent across the board.
It’s interesting to see a lot of departure posts on LinkedIn from the very caste you’re describing. Highly paid fluff roles in indirect functions - some of them are smart enough to realize that their positions are the first to go as the organization attempts to lean out and get more focused.
We unfortunately also have leaders who don’t lead and are cut from the same cloth so this probably won’t happen.
