All of the HR Talent management programs are being put together to deliver the lowest cost organization for the long term which is very different to an organization that can continue to deliver. Ironically an automated HR staffing system will judge capability based on performance which will refer to each person’s RG.

We all know that RG of certain people are completely political. The new HR system will require human intervention or automated adjustments such that the BTC engineer with higher RG is not considered more capable than the RG 11 over 50 guy that makes all the corrections to the BTC blunders.

@f1 India is just there. They could just as easily have sent the jobs to Kenya, or any other third world country where there’s a critical mass of English speakers. Blaming India makes no sense whatsoever.

The people you should be angry with are the rich old white dudes profiting from sending your jobs overseas. It’s astonishing how little criticism there is of these people on this website, especially from people like you.

when they ask why younger generations won’t have kids of take pride in their work, this is why they only proper response is an empty death stare. because the answer is that these responses are logical and direct reaction to their decisions

Let’s be honest, blaming India is simply avoiding the truth. Country footprint decisions are made at the top so you can quit saying India took American jobs. American job weren’t taken… they’ve been migrated over the last 20 years through deliberate corporate choices. Roles once thought to be safe are disappearing, and we’re feeling the painful reality of that shift.

Middle management executes on these directives whether they personally agree or not — that’s the responsibility of the job they are paid to do. If they don’t, or won’t, there are plenty of others ready to step in to take their place and incentives… the outcome will not change. So while blaming India’ is convenient and maybe satisfying, it’s simply not true.

It’s hard to tell whether some of you are really confused or just refusing to acknowledge the facts. The decision makers are clear and sit in the C-suite not India. Whether you accept it is on you.

And Capabilities have all significantly deteriorated which the job family data clearly shows. Maybe the new system (with new terminology) will help pick it back up but will take years. In the mean time, the VPs through to the MC (and all the yes sir/yes ma’am managers), have alienated, demotivated or driven away the actual talent. And that continues. This is what happens when you put much more weight in what someone may do (potential) vs. rewarding those who have delivered and are capable today. Oh well!

We hire low quality HR folks (so much turnover in HR).

DWW and senior execs, you might be better of getting the Opportunity Evaluation people involved to clearly lay out risks for your RSUs that will mature in future.

@ak Stop playing the victim. Why does no one criticize the quality of work of other nationalities. They come to the U.S., earn their degrees, and do their work honestly. But with Indians the system gets exploited — weak hiring pipelines, unverified qualifications, and fake degrees that let people slip through with credentials that don’t match the job. They push for more than the work they actually deliver, and everyone else is expected to stay quiet about it.

Executives prioritize maximizing their own benefits while they’re in charge, rather than building a stable, profitable business for the long term. So sustainable growth and structural stability is out of picture.
