@1j7 yes I agree that there are much bigger issues than the email logo but the point is that it's a very simple fix to use an email signature that says you work for cdw with your name, title and contact info. These guys are so angry about being acquired that they're openly hostile to our customers and partners by saying 'you can't make me say I work for cdw' and apparently we don't have the mature and professional management to tell them to adhere to policy or get out. The acquisitions all had and still have serious issues but you can remove the hostile complainers pretty quickly and not pour gas on the fire in front of our customers.

@1gg it's more complicated than that. I ended up at CDW via an acquisition and members of our legacy organization ended up with three different versions of access to systems-some with legacy, some with CDW, and some with CDW.G. the configurations were all different and it took nearly a year for IT to straighten it out. The issues go much deeper than a simple footer on an email.

@1gf
All the employees that CDW has STILL not integrated into the any of CDW's systems!

@1gf I think it's because they're literally flipping off CDW management and no one has the good business sense to tell them to stop it or get fired immediately. We have a corporate email template but no one in management seems to want to be the big bad manager to tell these arrogant employees that the acquisition is completed and they do work for CDW not the company formerly known as Sirius. Another example of our inept and failing executives not doing their jobs. How do they think it looks to customers? Like we have a bunch of spoiled toddlers that won't take their naps and still get treats - great GTM strategy

@183 why do many CDW people still have Sirius as the e-mail footer?

@1c6 maybe but they'd have to get rid of almost all the current execs plus divest the box sellers and "recently re-named enterprise" accounts to businesses that could make money selling the confusing mix of stuff we market. but that's not really a bad idea if you wanted immediate gains. I don't see that happening with this board or existing leadership, they'll protect their turf and drive it into the ground before they'll make a good business decision for the company, it's all about the money, not the shareholders and certainly not about enriching employees

@h1 On April 4, 2024 the stock was at $263.37. Today it is at $133 at a time when tech stocks across NASDAQ have generally increased exponentially. You'll see CDW-G sold off as a separate business to raise cash.

@14n Here's the problem with your assessment - there are no "Sirius sellers' now, we are all 'CDW sellers' and complaints about CDW policies are useless - we all have to live by the d-mb$$s policies - the point is we are one company named CDW and yet we continue to pretend there wasn't an acquisition, but there was and it's done and over. No more Sirius, it's bye bye gone, so lets deal with reality and fix the company we we work for and stop living in the past. While you can debate the acquisition as good or bad and we can probably agree there was no integration, we're stuck with it now and it needs to be fixed or there won't be any company to complain about.

Ever since CDW acquired Sirius, it has gone downhill exponentially fast! CDW will continue to lay people off and shift work to India. They love paying pennies on the dollar for sub-par work these last few years. They don't care about the quality of work or the true customer experience, they only care about the bottom line and reducing as much cost as they can, even if it means hurting business. These people that are making decisions are making CDW into just another cr-ppy corporation. It's doing a disservice to the integrity of what CDW used to be.

@hq after nearly a decade of doing what I should and outperforming just to continually watch leadership make the wrong decisions this one being the absolute worst, I don't see a righting of the ship.

We used to about doing the little things right to build confidence in the big projects. We can't even do the little things right anymore. Continually shifting things to India hasn't helped. Telling account reps that what they preached for 20+ years of relationships matter not being true anymore surely won't help. Those customers who weren't taking Insight and SHI calls out of loyalty have no reason not to pick up now.

Real predictions:
DV and ITS combine (again). Enterprise teams struggle to meet the specific needs of Enterprise customers when it comes to billing/invoicing needs and overall treating them as "special".
EBO continues to outsource everybody they can to India. We bring in more Executives from Slalom
Q1 is filled with clients complaining about losing their Account Managers) Sirius Sellers complain about adders and other CDW policies
Services grow due to heavier focus Some Sellers leave due to the changes
We announce an actual AI strategy internally Some more Execs take a "CDW retirement"
*Stock slowly climbs back to around $160

@hq lol, so you want us all to have Stockholm Syndrome towards the clowns that got us in this mess? Funniest thing I've heard all year.

They put us in this position, of course it's going to lead to sh_tty attitudes.

Used to be a great company, now it's a steaming bag of dog cr-p. They reap what they sow.

@hq great idea dude! I'll come in to the office singing with my smiley face on and pretend I have a chance at doing something that will change the way our "leaders" lead. We have very poor, under-experienced and overly arrogant management that think they are the smartest guys on the planet. There's no accountability for missed numbers, micromanaging and useless powerplay mandates - we've hired a bunch of yes boss directors and vp's and have a boatload of old legacy people who should have self-retired years ago. We need new board, new exec team with actual experience outside of CDW

For those on here that were let go by CDW, I get the negative comments and anger, been there. For the others who claim to still be with CDW I don’t get the negativity & the hoping for bad things to come. Don’t you understand that if CDW does bad it could cost you your jobs? If you’re so negative on here, I’m sure it shows in your work and your dealings with customers & partners. How about changing your attitudes and you might help change the trajectory of the company? It’s more fun to be a part of the solution than being part of the problem.

We rebound and the company starts to thrive again. Every successful company goes through ups and downs, CDW is no different. I’ve been around long enough to remember when we thought NVDIA and AMD would disappear.

After Tom Richards they have sunk this company. They do not care about anyone but themselves and their wallets and feeding their own egos.
Layoffs, offshoring, GTM, destroying lives along the way without one Afterthought. As long as they are making money though...So happy to finally be out.
