Availability for thanksgiving and Christmas week

Is anyone able to enter availability for the weeks of thanksgiving and Christmas? I keep checking daily and for those two specific weeks, theres an “error”. All other weeks are fine.

Thank God I find the loopholes while I work for this money hungry company! People leaders act like Macy’s wouldn’t dump them in a heartbeat! Enjoy your family and the holidays because I sure won’t feel one ounce of guilt calling off.

Weird...it seems to have undid the availability for key days, but it does allow you to go back and adjust it. I just fixed mine Thanks for the heads up!

@m4 your attitude is one of the main reasons Macy’s has closed hundreds of stores over the last few years, hundreds more to go… if you and the people that worked here cared more about the business maybe we wouldn’t be failing so much. Down down down we all go!!!

@m4 and herein lies the problem with the associates in store today. Me, me, me. Next week you’re going to rule the world too I suppose. (Oh, and school wasn’t very good for you either based on your grammar I see).

@es With people leader attitudes like yours that's why we call out...If a manager tells me that, I call out the next day...lol. We DO NOT WORK WHEN YOU SAY WORK...WE WORK ACCORDING TO ARE AVAILABILITY! WHICH YOU ALL TRY TO IGNORE DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!! speaking of calling out ...hire enough people because Im not covering anyone's shift..We have a life out of work and like to enjoy the holidays with our families. We are not Managers or people leaders living and breathing Macy's throughout the holidays. Can't select availability for two weeks is a joke...

If you need a specific day off, talk to your people leader. Black Friday is not an option for a day off tho

Can’t select availability for those two weeks. Critical for the business, not open to your preferences. You work when we say you work!
