Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Leadership is such a joke

Our floor was being renovated in ATL- Lenox so TSC Leadership allowed us to work from home 2 days a week while renovation was being completed until December 1st. Porter visited ATL and reiterated it.

Today we get an email that they finished early so back to 5 days on Monday! “We know this is short notice and you may need to make some adjustments to your schedule”. What a joke. Don’t ever let AT&T tell you they care about you.

If you are expected to be WORKING at home, what difference does it make if you have to go back to the office early? Especially if you weren’t hired as a remote employee. You are somewhat inferring that you are doing other things besides WORKING during your WORK hours. Be thankful you were able to WORK from home as long as you did.

I’m in Lenox and we’ve been 5x for almost a year. You’re lucky you got as long as you did. No it still doesn’t make any sense even after nearly a year. We are still on Teams calls all day with no FTF meetings. It’s still just a waste of time.

@an Who said it was WFH? Most of us continued to go into the office as soon as they reopened. The only reason it was only 3 days mandatory was bc there wasn't enough room in a new city. I wouldn't say I'm thankful for being assigned to a new city.

NO!!!!!! THAT IS NOT WHAT IS HAPPENING! HERE IS WHAT IS HAPPENING:

I heard they were targeting 50+ and WHITE Caucasians, making sure that all of them were 5 day RTO and going easy on so called new hires. You know he new hires, they fulfill Stanley’s goals of reflecting our communities and getting younger.

I suppose the #fcc and #doj got wind and now they are telling everyone to hurry and jump on the 5 day RTO wagon so T can hide their agenda. Good luck loser T.
