just follow "Layoff running totals based on Slack" threads with daily post of Slack fluctuation. mass layoffs will be apparent immediately the very same day, at least for NA and IDC.

@ep it’s pretty cleat that’s what OP said. Don’t troll and post rumor from credible source so everyone can be informed.

I thought this was obvious, but apparently not for @OP. Every platform has it’s trolls - the best way to deal with them is to ignore them. Don’t focus on the random “doomsday is coming” posts. Pay attention to the in-between threads, cause the useful info is usually in the middle of all that noise.. If @OP had actually followed what was shared previously, they’d know the real signals always showup weeks before the layoffs happen.
@b6 making up rumors from thin air is different to sharing rumors from a real source.
Just in the first page there are multiple posts making up rumors like the famous “Layoffs starting tomorrow” post several days ago. Is there anyone that naive believing it’s from a creditable source after more than a week?
That's such a bad post. People dont need to be waking up worried every day, but being prepared and aware is smart. You must be mgmt.
OP, sure mate, whatever puts your mind at ease. But you do realise how you or anyone else feels about the situation makes not one bit of a difference on future events?
Oracle’s about to drop the hammer on a wave of layoffs, and the rumor mill is working overtime. My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard it from a guy who knows a kid whose cousin’s coworker’s aunt swore she saw the HR memo slip out of a printer that was still spewing out spreadsheets at the office.
So yeah, the news is pretty serious—if you’re not already bracing for a corporate avalanche, you might want to start polishing that résumé now.

@OP, the whole purpose of this site is to discuss layoff rumors, so complaining about seeing them here feels a bit misplaced. If you want to read them, read them - if not, just move on. Problem solved.
I'd also be curious to know, if you've heard rumors, which orgs will be impacted.
Shut the fu-k up. No layoffs? That’s fu--ing rich did management send you bear to quell the rumors instead you come off like the village id--t. You have some sh-t on your nose, get out of managements a-s or do you like it too much?
I heard the rumors from a source. Biggum layoffs in time.
So much truth to the rumors. Even my SENIOR Director mentioned he has heard rumblings. The best thing we can do is our job and be aware. We should continue to look for work outside of the O. We as employees have no control of layoffs, we do have the ability to find work that brings us joy. All that matters is our health. Peace and Love.
Well it's not rumours, it's coming. But the size and which month ? but it's coming. And this announcement is going to further volatile the stock market, because its not a just normal regular layoffs, and its going to have a big impact on operations and quality.
