I haven't heard or noticed anything unusual. Which doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Not that I'd be surprised if it's real.

Several team members just got laid off from my team.

I am seeing house calls is getting hit this morning.
Fingers crossed the Bh leadership ring leader is on the chopping block, PSA no one cares where you used to work so please stop reminding us (eye roll here).
They did a layoff of leadership this afternoon and then at 7:45 AM tomorrow 2/19 there will be more
@jk I wonder how many directors and VPs. I always felt they were really top heavy in that area.
50 got axxed in E&I yesterday. Anyone with a 2 on their perf rating or lower and bunch of leaders. Didn’t mention it during their all-call even. Bunch of friends got let go and they said nothing. They knew people would be stunned.
Look at who is missing when the dust settles. The good ones are all gone now.

@ep 250 laid off in in Tn. Some in my dept. The remaining got NO raise at a 3 or 1% at a 4. This place is evil. If we ever when another TnCare bid it’ll be a miracle.
A call today with client services org said a handful in departments throughout the org were let go today. They said implementation and proposals were not affected, but does that mean they won't be affected at all? Or just not affected "today?"

@bj Yep, I'm in the same boat. It's already started today with quite a few layoffs in several departments. It's gonna be like this through this Friday (the 19th). :(
@jk Yes, I personally know of two who were laid off. There has been (so far) quite a bit of blood letting today across several departments. FWIW, I've heard it's gonna be like this throughout UHG through Friday (the 19th).
Talent Acquisition across the board were laid off today.
UHG site is reporting 140.laid.off in a BH role
All states with no boundaries stated. My insight is only E&I

Totally true. I’m a leader and considering quitting just so I don’t have to watch this happen.
