@cg As someone in the cyber org, you are not doing this lol. Those are flagged and blocked as backdoor trojans. The only theoretical way would be to create a personal bi-directional firewall rule that allows this program through to JUST your home IP, which would involve creating multiple rules across multiple firewalls and trust me, that sh-t is EASILY tracked.
We have zero control over when our system "goes to sleep" or gets "locked" as that's managed by Dell, not us. Those remote backdoor trojans and/or programs only work when the system is NOT "locked" or asleep. Meaning, the remote computer needs to be actively logged into Windows because those remote programs work off of the Registry configs and active processes that are only active when the computer isn't locked.
Gaining access from a remote computer is one thing but, maintaining that access is an entirely different story. Maintaining access and keeping it secret is an even different story!
Hackers are sometimes able to do this because they use custom scripts, programs, and packet manipulation to trick the system into thinking that it's "valid" (a program, or trojan for example.) Your dell issued computer is being scanned constantly for certain criteria that meets "HIP checks" which is what enables you to even be on the VPN.
Remote programs such as teamviewers as example, use TCP 5938 and if that is blocked/unavailable then it defaults to 443/SSL. Which, incoming 443 connections are absolutely blocked.
Long story short, you are full of bs lol. ANd if by chance you are actually doing this, and are caught, you can easily be prosecuted for quite a few crimes.
