I've heard so many different rumors that pieced together, it sounds massive. Anyone have anything more concrete?

@12d she was in the town hall today talking about AI again. And how she is the best developer/coder since she has the latest Claude code. My question is why not code everything your self and save billions. Why pay all the VPs, sr directors n sr engineers. For them all, n replace them with ai agents. Lats see if you can before you talk about 10x , 100x, vibe coding etc
Rx, OI, Tech, AHNI. Looks like 4/30 will be a large RIF. In one meeting there were 122 people attending, and there were 3 meetings scheduled at different days/times.
@xn do you know what dept? OI?
@gq There are IN FACT layoffs happening next week. 4/30 is term day for many folks.
@gq Does not matter with WFH. They can lay you off and it not get a WARN notice.
Based on the Super Heroes winners email, only 5 OI employees were awarded so it appears the numbers may be big.
@b5 huh?
@j3 Do we know if there is another RIF schedule , cause that last one was spot on!
@gq I don't have 50 Optum employees working in my house so Optum laying me off would never trigger a WARN notice.
@ef Yes OI supports a lot of products the major healthcare payers and providers use and our teams get smaller every quarter with more RIFs and more offshoring.
@gq Why are you spreading misinformation?
It's not going to be 30%, but the numbers will nonetheless be very significant @April 30th.
@gq It is never in the warn notice because of the many remote workers that are let go. The RIF schedule previously posted has been very accurate all year. The next RIF is 4/30.
@gq the trigger is 500 for a location like HDQ, not 50!
No layoffs next week. Stop the rumors and scaring everyone. If it's not on the WARN notice for your state, than it won't be more than 50, if any at all.
Any insider knowledge on OI Allina teams?
BIGLY
I'm in UHC and we are a customer of an OI product. The support has been terrible. From what I'm told, they don't have enough people in OI to support the tool we use.
@aq Agreed, and a lot of the teams that are going to be taking cuts are already stretched beyond the breaking point.
Anyone who's area uses platforms or processes supported by OI should probably expect downtime to become longer and far more frequent.
BOHICA!
@a9 - 30% company wide?
Very large in OI
30%
