We knew it was likely coming but DP officially named new CIO. Thoughts? I think it was somewhere here where someone said DP was one of the ones pushing for HIH....

DP is a total empty suit. Its Noelle in a pair of pants. Maybe we should off shore the CIO job. Couldn't be any worse than it is right now. Anyone who can leave is trying to.
@18j And they are always on mute, no video. What a great team!
@181 Ha ha, just hop on your average WebEx and you can see the evidence.
@16k Yes, there have been managers, engineers, and technicians hired in India to take over for engineering and operations roles. I am being asked to provide documentation or "educate them on how things are done" knowing I could be laid off in 4 months.
Anybody felt the HIH and Indians are kind of overtaking the technology teams?
anyone got the future layoff dates?
Anyone expecting a round of layoffs coming soon ?
Looks like DC doesn’t want to take much risks to try different CIO. He might just plan on his smooth retirement soon?
@e8 exactly! They’re close friends and coworkers since their old days in Hilton!
HIH is a massive liability and DP owns it.
He was a Noelle coattail rider and is a champion of the HIH effort. Nobody should be excited about this, seems like a non-choice more than a leadership decision.
DP was a great choice. He’s balanced and rational. And nothing like the prior CIO. No one is sad to see her go. Good riddance.
Now will DP support HIH. Yes. I’m sure he will. But again it’s all about balance.
At the very least, he doesn't have a "Nobody cares. Work harder" pinup in his office. At least not that I'm aware of.
