You should either transfer to the Nashville TN office where gas is cheaper or look to see if Oracle plans to open an office in Saint Louis Missouri and move there where gas prices are cheaper than they are in California.
You probably won’t miss California moving to Nashville or Saint Louis

The price Gas in California increased today with a state average price of $8.40 a gallon. Probably will go over $10.00 a gallon by the end of the week.
@p7 Demographic trends say otherwise.
Nobody wants to move to friggin' TN. Just find another job in an area you want to live in.
@e6 yes. got it?
@e6 I suspect that he was being rhetorical.
Sounds like a thing oracle HR would say. Not today HR ;)
Let's be honest here. Nashville as well as the entire state of Tennessee sux too.
FYI, St. Louis consistently ranks as one of the worst cities in the US.
There are about 2 dozen better reasons to leave California before thinking about gas prices.
St. Louis. LOL
Is that the same St. Louis where the owner of the ATT tower who paid $200M+ for it turned around and sold it for $4M 'cause they wanted out of St. Louis so bad?
FYI, people move OUT of St. Louis, not IN. HTH
You’re saying you’re willing to pay $100 a gallon of gas if it got that high in California rather than moving to St Louis where gas would probably be under $4 bucks a gallon? I bet you, assuming you’re not as d-mb as you sound would reconsider moving to St Louis if gas in California remained high and it was eating up your paycheck to fill up your cars gas tank
Don't Californicate my Tennessee
@bv relax, nobody from california wants to move there
To all the Californians turning their noses up at these other states understand that no one really wants you to move there. They just want your job to move there.
Nashville i could tolerate, Missouri or Texas though ? He-l no.
Californian here, Gas could be 100$ and I wouldn’t move to Missouri or Nashville. Respectfully
@a5 If you're not hands on with any equipment there, or maintaining the building, just WFH,
(1) Follow the meta guy and move to the sunshine state so that you can save the state income tax and possibility property tax OR (2) Buy an EV car, oracle employees should be able to afford it :0):0):0):0):0)
