We can’t possibly have another level up while riffing at the same time…can we?

It was never alive. Its was just BS to feed to folks
@e6 Yes - I enjoyed that too. 😊
@bk Please talk to your leader and get yourself added to the list
Level Up is HR Barbie’s program, so I assume it will stay around as long as she and her post it notes are here. I can only wonder what other great ideas she comes up with as she posts about vacation as her team lays people off. If you want to learn about what’s next, get excited for the offshore learning and development team that works for a fraction of the pay of people she laid off last year. And then she paraded around with Tom Brady right after while saying VZ is the best. What inspirational leadership. What a patriot that truly cares. Level up!
Level up was lame.
However, there's still a large group of senior leaders that need to be leveled down or leveled out.
"Are you guys working?"
"Yes Sir Mr. Simpson!"
"Could you, ummm, work any harder than this?"
"Sure thing Boss."
It seems that the compensation team cannot come up with new competitive pay structures - not to many smart people there. so they grab themselves to “level up” - this to quiet down the noise and to make believe we are on par with the Tech companies. What has that gotten us? - just more levels in between for management and below. For directors and above, they have sweeten the pot.
I’m in my mid 50’s, burned out, and “hanging on.” Do I qualify for level down?
Official communication from Verizon: We've started a new program, Level Out. We realized we can't create any more levels to go with our original plan Level Up More, so we decided levelling out was our best ption. We've been talking to your managers about who qualifies. We'll communicate with you shortly.
Level up was a joke to begin with..lots of promises by leadership that never actually happened. FACT!
Level up is a joke anyways ..
