Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

** Dropping

I am a manager with a team taking calls for a big mutual funds client.. It was not communicated officially but there is chatter that they don't want our service anymore, looks like it's a done deal. We don't know if that means layoffs for all our teams... Zero official communication and the team morale is below zero. Anyone got any more information to share about this?

@OP Isnt that a lot of people that work in customer service? I am far removed from those teams but if that is true then it’s a disaster that the client would resign from that. How can it be so bad?

@d2 it is about FT. CS teams are to be moved back to them. Heard they were not happy with the quality at all.

Is this for PF? If so, a shame, since they have been a client well before 2000. Everything is geared now to FT, which may be the only client left when the dust settles. Acquiring FT business may have been a very bad decision, but hey this is FIS, so go figure.

@OP is that true? That would be a disaster, not only layoffs but also clients cancelling services?
