I'm not gonna let "em push me around anymore. I intend to WFH through the end of 2025. This company has all the employees "running scared" it's time to stand up for our rights. I'm willing to stand up and call their bluff.
For whoever heard their group is reducing RTO next year, what hub are you in? Also what org, is it Legg?
I don’t mind RTO but it needs to be deployed company wide in all countries ! That would be fair , in our org we have overseas folks coming in1 day a week to 3 days a week . That just ain’t fair !
We were just told three days a week next year. We must be freeing up some seats for you. Gotta love musical chairs.
Sound the mini violin.
@f6 Dallas is a massive building, filled with people, all of whom are not mentally there.
@f6 You are wrong. Bedminster is two small buildings and it is filled. There are no empty desks.
Similar to the tariff bonus , Mr JL is sanctioning a $2000 rto allowance for all
@OP Bedminster needs to be shut down , massive building and no one really there .
"No badge readers on way out in Bedmister"
Just swipe your badge at the door on your way out. I've been doing it for over 6 months and my hours report has had correct end times. Just because you don't HAVE to badge out doesn't mean you can't. I recommend doing it to get credit for your hours. You can complain that you shouldn't have to, and I would agree, but it is the best way I've found to ensure accuracy. Its easy insurance.
“Am I wrong?”
Yes. It’s about increasing collaboration through teams being physically together.
@e2 As someone actively applying and interviewing for other roles, no, it isn’t.
Who, if anybody, wants to call their bluff? This has all the earmarks of a RIFF in disguise! Am I wrong?
5 days is now the industry standard.
"everyone else has been working closer to full time for year already.” Corrected.
Everyone else has cut back to 8 & Skate for almost a year already.
Corrected for truthfulness.
This is truly great news.
“ I am one employee”.
You must be pretty special considering we have over 100,000 employees. Must admit I have seen it happen in the past. Usually with some old system that have lost most of their SME’s that is still functional. Plus you have no idea if the work you are currently doing is being used to train a AI program.
@db Great idea. I am pretty sure you will eventually be able to permanently work from home without a paycheck. It is a cool idea, bro. You may want to apply your unemployment benefits too, to get a heads start. 😂🤣😁
This is horrible, I'll take my chances and continue telecommuting. I am one employee the company cannot risk losing. I have always received exceeds ratings and get rewarded regularly with bonus money!
You have to be kidding me.
They’re been doing 3 days a week all this time while everyone else was doing 5?
WTF?!?!
No one wants to hear your whining now. We all been doing this for a year now.
“About damn time, everyone else has been suffering for a year already.”
“everyone else has been working closer to full time for year already.”
- Corrected.
It was a sad day Friday to get the notice. AND since next week there are only 3 business days, there is no WFH next week. So to say it starts Dec 1 is bull, it actually started Friday afternoon when they sent the email. Zero warning. Can’t wait to see this, it’s already so crowded on mondays and Tuesdays, now it will be like that every day. Hey, at least we have free parking, if you can find a spot.
"At North Park, the shuttle service is for all campus parking lots"
Are they still doing the valet parking and towing?
@as What you stated is not truly correct. At North Park, the shuttle service is for all campus parking lots, not from another business location.
Merry Christmas! Leadership knew many planned to take December off without vacation and wanted to get ahead of this.
About damn time, everyone else has been suffering for a year already.
"How people will park and it will be a chaotic mess, but they dont care it seems"
You are correct . . . they don't care. At Lenox ATL they told us to park at another building that was mostly vacant at the time. At the North Point ATL location they have shuttles running from other parking locations.
Jan this year, the same - implemented the 5 day rule right when the weather made commuting treacherous and dinging people for working from home on icy days. Use vacation or caregiver. Don’t work from home!
About time
Welcome to the party pal
There are construction till Jan 2026 to install generator, which takes 2 lane of parking.
How people will park and it will be a chaotic mess, but they dont care it seems
Email also said to be in office generally 8 hours a day.
No badge readers on way out in Bedmister from what people tell me. Count on being shorted hours via their presence reporting machine pinging software. Another good way they use to cut more people for non-compiance.
@a7 no changes made in the buildings or parking. Space opened up due to layoffs. Email also said to be in office generally 8 hours a day.
Email came from
From: ATS Workplace Management
With the recent changes to the Bedminster Campus,
Were there actual physical changes at Bedminster? Thought it was lack of space and lack of parking mostly and I doubt they added more parking. More likely they now have space from previous layoffs?
I may have missed the email since I have too many Outlook rules. Let me go back to check all folders. I am pretty sure I didn't see it in my Inbox on Friday.
TO: ATS Teams
CC: Their supervisors
With the recent changes to the Bedminster Campus, we are making minor adjustments to neighborhoods and implementing 5 days in the office effective December 1, 2025.
@OP I didn't get the email, and I am at that location. Share the email here.
