@2gs AI does sell. The industry is very clear on it. That's why the pivot and delusional marketing. But the "AI" needs to be real, and Sabre has nothing real, it only has a marketing story. Nothing of the inner workings of the platform changed. That's why this is a flawed exercise by a leadership team out of control, and out of their depth.

@2mf If it was just the footer that's the problem, that would be great. The product presentation, the AI messaging, the platform story - everything is just so clunky and bad.

Website footer not displaying correctly on mobile. Maybe that's why there are a few open dev and qa postings. All in India, of course.

@cx Maybe on purpose? So SI can sue for copyright infringement, we have no money to pay, and they win a worthless company? Save face, better than bankruptcy??

I am just disgisted by the bs rebranding. We haven't made a profit in 6 years and of all the stupid things they decided to waste time and money on a ridiculous rebranding, and it's going from a brand that looked ok to one that looks completely terrible. It's just insane.

Then there's the id--tic AI pivot. Are they on crack? Talk about jumping the shark on that. The AI hype train left the station years ago, we missed it, that scam is past its sell-by date, find a new scam. Our core products are being starved so our customers are unhappy and now they want to pretend we are now an AI company when AI doesn't sell. It is so beyond insane.

Oh, and yeah we are a tech company, you can lay off most of the tech people and still be a tech company right? Yeah sure Jan. Whatever. We're just an AI hype train scam company now. All aboard. Better use the right font and background color, yep, that's the most important thing. What are our customers saying about this behind our backs? SMFH.

@dv It was aimed at the people leaving the company, Lets Get Going, the next bus is due in 5 minutes

@fx Sounds like you are delusional. Sabre is toast. The entire AI story doesn't stack up. Your company is no longer driven by the CEO, but by a deranged CMO that has done this all before, and is completely out of her depth.

@1mr did it help Travelport much?

by

Post ID: @1tk+1kjsa2rx8

It feels very similar to the Travelport approach - not surprising given it is driven by the same person.

Strong, highly visible marketing and bold messaging, but with little connection to the underlying business reality.

Travelport’s marketing was impressive on the surface, yet rarely reflected how things actually worked operationally.

@fx You are right. The only change that we have seen is the stock going from $20 to $0.80 (ok $2 now)

Good news if you miss TPF.

Sabre's TPF never went anywhere.

TPF is still at Sabre's core and will continue to be for several more years despite what the AI marketing hype says.

We have been working on getting off TPF for about 20 years and we still aren't even half way done. Use the 80 20 rule and guess how long it will take to get the rest done. Do you really think it will be done in just 3 more years?

So many sad, disgruntled people on this thread. The reason they don't work here is they clearly can't handle change. I'm critical of the company, too, but we needed this. y'all probably miss your TPF, too.

Is the MAGA orange color relevant here or was that an afterthought?

"claude, make the website looking futuristic and minimal, use orange , it should generate a billion dollars . Make no mistakes"

ChatGPT prompt: just like the Travelport look and feel and the Sabre Industries logo, but shittier.

Saddest thing is that somebody is probably proud of that monstrosity.

Are we supposed to act all excited and be proud to work here when we just lost a third of our colleagues in yet another mass layoff??? Morale is on the floor, teams are stretched thin, and no one cares about this rebrand when we know behind the scenes it’s all the same or worse

@cd I don’t care for anything about it.

Also side note: I tried to view Sabre.com on my laptop in chrome and after the video was done playing there was no way to continue. I had to use my back button.

It's like we copied the Sabre Industries logo but made it look worse.

The marketing bs accompanying the new logo is totally ridiculous.

Disgusted that our vcp was wasted on this rebranding.

I just saw the rebrand on LI. Horrible icon and the header does not even fit on a mobile phone screen correctly from right margins. Amateur hour over here.

It's hilarious how the excitement is portrayed by their comms team. The new 'let's get going' is funny - because most have already gone or an the process of going :-)
