Have you ever felt like a quality issue was overlooked? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. What happened, and what are some ideas for addressing these issues?

Ford and quality?

Ah ha ha ha!

The company is a just a visa scam funded by F-150 brand recognition.

@OP

"Have you ever felt like a quality issue was overlooked?"

have you ever had a dream...that you are...that you...you were...um....you could....that you um...that you were um...you um...that you could do anything?

Literally....you must be a bot. This is a board full of people talking about Ford and you're asking if anyone has ever felt that quality has been overlooked....you must have done something similar to what we used to say "Must have eaten the paint chips when you were a kid" because they were full of lead. You're not serious....can't be....have to be a bot....there's no soul behind your eyes. To ask something so blatantly obvious.

Ever since Ford decided business degrees (bean counters) were more important than engineering positions quality declined immensely. Testing could show a part would fail and needed to be more robust only to have the bean counters and "management" decide it was too expensive to fix or to say the test was too tough. I was there, I saw it... There are too many useless friends and family people in the business and HR parts of the company. Unless this course is reversed Ford is doomed to bankruptcy within 5 years.

Quality was knowingly compromised in exchange for cost reductions. CRID.

Conditions will continue to worsen as all engineering and testing work is shipped outside the United States.
