OT will be doing what other companies are doing with "rolling layoffs" where they fire just below the minimum reporting requirements. There will be larger layoffs tied to divestitures or flat-out WFR, but the vast majority will be stealthy to avoid costly legal requirements like severance.

Just keep looking for another job. The paltry severance isn't worth the stress.

I wouldn't plan on a WFR that isn't wrapped into a divestment for optics purproses. That presumes performance related layoffs have occured already by now.

It would look bad to do a big WFR before Christmas. I am expecting it to hit in January before a new CEO is announced.

@ds Just take more sick days when you need a day off. Game the system.

@ds Yeah, no need to do that anymore since it all just goes away at the end of the year now.

@bb you mean the mandatory shutdown where they take some of your PTO days away from you so you can't have your vacations when you want? It's not a holiday, it's a clawback of the already limited time off that you get.

@bb nope. We’re a cloud company not a licensed revenue company

Wonder if they will reinstate the week holiday break between Christmas and New Years.
