Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Next round of layoffs

Does anyone with access to the layoff calendar know when the next round of layoffs is happening?

Layoffs are planned every month, just like these threads getting posted. Typically the notification dates are the first Thursday of every month to coincide with the pay cycle. 9/25, 10/23, 11/6, 12/4 are the currently posted job elimination dates. And as the previous down-voted reply stated, there are currently no planned mass layoffs like earlier in the year.

Right before October.
It’s just a coincidence that they pay bonuses on those released after Sept 30.

Good grief, Cigna has had recommended layoff dates for its employees since 1983, doesn’t mean people get laid off, but if you do, they let you go on that day.

There might be a date, just like the procedure before any of you started working here, but mass lay offs are over

So no more layoffs from now until the end of time? Not a single one under any circumstances?

I'm gonna need you to show your work here.

No, but's it's sad to see Cigna is still doing the same Sh!t. I am a former employee who used to be on this site all the time since they started doing major layoffs in 2023. I left over a year ago because I was tired of feeling like I could be let go any day. I haven't been on this site in many months and sadden to see it hasn't gotten better, but worse. I wouldn't recommend Cigna as a place to work nor as my insurance carrier.
