RSUs are designed to keep you at the company. its a retention tactic.
The irony is that most of you goons will get LR'd before the RSUs vest.
if you are on a 3 year vesting schedule and get LR'd next month, you get goose egg.
and, RSUs are counted as ordinary income in the year of vesting

@eb dude IPF is a tool for managers to manipulate rewards and promo, if your manager and his manager does not like you better vacate the premises

and people here talking about EXPECTING a promo, seriously? i've been here 4 years and not even a sniff of a grade level promo
The trend of my compensation changes has drastically changed the last few years. Before I was getting pretty decent promotions and raises every year. But something feels different now, like Cisco is playing a different game and not rewarding employees. I’m at my wits end here, I’m temped to just quit without my next job lined up.
G10, G11, G12 how much is the average RSU expected ? It seems Cisco is pathetic compared to companies out there where they are dishing out large number of RSUs Cisco seems to be sc--wing us
