Hi everyone, Quick question, does anyone know if someone who leaves Chevron this coming November would still be eligible to receive the bonus payout in March 2026? I've been with the company for over five years. Thanks in advance!

You've been with CVX five years and don't know this? Take a hike.
@dm Did you not receive it? The policy is if you were there in March 2024 you are eligible to receive prorated cip in 2025. You DO NOT have to be there in 2025. If you left in Nov 2024 you should get at least 75% CIP. Thats what HR told me.
I wouldn’t worry about it. Multiplier will be 0.25.
How are you thinking you’ll get bonuses? We just had layoffs gutting the company and major safety incidents not to mention the fatalities and you’re still thinking you’re getting bonuses? Look at the dashboard. It will quickly go to all red before bonus time. One of the cost cutting actions the consultants think up.
Left November 2024 and was told by HR I would not be eligible to receive my 2024 bonus in March of 2025. Apparently the policy is you have to be on payroll still by March 1 (weeks before CIP distribution).
Not true. Prorated even if you quit. Now the “redeployment “ only applies if left standing.
The prorated amount will be the same as that paid to retained employees, zero 0.0 . You have to be delusional if you think that the cip will be any positive number. The company us in cost and benefits reduction mode.
Ya'll ki-l me. Go look it up. It isn't hard to find this answer and if you can't, then you shouldn't be working here anyway.
Yes. It will be prorated.
What I’m not sure of is if that is based upon your last day in office or your official last day at the company which would be different if leaving Chevron is a result of being left standing in the reorg. Redeployment is 4 weeks(?), which technically means you’d get the full year of the CIP if you left at the end of November.
Yes. If you are on payroll past April 1st, your CIP should be prorated for the time you were employed during the year.
If you want the CIP and you want to leave, you should plan to be on payroll on the day the CIP is paid to be sure you get it, but 1 March is technically the date that the system will use. Personally I would only resign once I get the payment. So my resume is only going out in February.
Depends on BU - If you're laid off in ABU, you are eligible for pro-rated CIP (which is why they made those departing do mid-year performance reviews)
Nope. If you leave, you forfeit
