Sharing success

Anyone else’s excited for their Sharing Success award! Such a thoughtful thing our company does, rewarding us with a whopping 65 units….
The RSUs and cash bonuses are pathetic.
Meanwhile, BM (Bowel Movement) unloads nearly 17k shares for just under $1m in the middle of each month.

@OP - It’s called “responsible growth”, now hush and get back to work!

@cy Not happy with 56 shares either... It is not the number of shares that upsets me more. I rather have cash up front instead of playing the annual vesting distribution. In order to get all 56 shares, I have to work four more years. I am lucky if I work one more year with how things are changing in my group. How is this Sharing for Success? It appears that everybody shares a little so Brian gets more success.

@dj I wouldn't be complaining about 125 shares when some of us just got 56 for 4 years.

125 shares over a 4 year vesting period doesnt excite. I’ve been at companies that have a vesting schedule of 1 year for far more shares.

The amount is assigned by band, for people confused on the variation.

@cy 💯 While Moynihan sits on 2.5 million shares I’m supposed to be happy with a piddly 56. GTFOH

You all know the number of shares varies by income, right? If you earn more, you get more shares. Sounds backwards, but that's how it works.

First 80, then 65, now 56. What is the incentive to work hard to help increase stock prices if they manipulate the award to keep the payout from increasing?

@ap - the units went down because the stock price is up.

Do your math.

Total awarded value = same.

(ok, still pathetic, but the same nonetheless)

@ar 30 spread across 4 years? that doesn't sound right are you sure it's not 30 per vesting period

Lucky you got 65. Most of us get a lot less than that. I'm getting 30.
